Yes, each day includes a camel trek: a sunset ride on day 1, a full day crossing on day 2, a half-day deep desert ride on day 3, and a morning ride to Erg Haj Ahmed on day 4. However, the pace is relaxed, and you can also choose to walk alongside the caravan if you prefer (the guides will adapt).
The camel caravan moves all gear (tents, kitchen, food, bedding) each day while you are trekking. When you arrive at the new campsite (Erg Essouig, Erg Aalam), everything is already set up. This allows you to experience completely different dune landscapes every night – one of the unique features of this expedition.
Absolutely. Iriqui National Park has zero light pollution, classified as one of the best stargazing locations in Morocco. On clear nights you’ll see the Milky Way, shooting stars, and countless constellations. Our guides can share basic astronomy or simply let you enjoy the silence.
October to May is ideal (pleasant days, cold nights). Summer (June–August) is extremely hot; we can still run the trip with early starts, shaded breaks and shorter treks, but we recommend spring/autumn for the best experience.

One soft duffel bag per person (max 15 kg) plus a small daypack. The camel caravan can manage this easily. Hard suitcases are not suitable – please use soft bags.
